Life is a game.
Those who play...
Play against the entire world.
There are no saves.
There are no walkthroughs.
There is only one chance.

Times have changed...

It's about time... Things changed.

Heh heh. Now....

Now I feel... So...

Energised.

Hah. Hahahaha!!

Drains faster than a a void.

These few days haven't been any good.

I'd love to talk about it, but it sucks at the moment to type beyond ten sentences because, well, it sucks at the moment.

My thoughts went something like this: Girl. Homework. Girl. Games. Girl. Brood. Girl. Brood. Brood. Girl. Brood. Brood. Brood. Brood. Blog.

Then I actually blog.

Hah.

DOTA

Defence of the Ancients. Like what.

OK, I'm playing the game too. It's not a crime.

Anyway... Having some self-doubts lately. Probably don't matter.

Hmm. Beach tomorrow? I'm on.

Happy Anniversary, polalion.blogspot.com!

I know it's a little bit late (like 16 days), but better late then never!

I wanna thank all the people who have been reading it since the beginning until now (meaning myself), and please continue to support this blog!

As a celebratory entry, I present to you: How to make a girl happy!

- Tell her you think that she's cool.
- Tell her why you think she's so cool.
- Smell her.
- Talk to her in movie theaters.
- Pick her up and pretend you're going to throw her in a river. She'll scream and fight you but secretly, she'll love it.
- Hold her hand and skip.
- Hold her hand and run.
- Just hold her hand.
- Pick her flowers out of other people's gardens and give them to her.
- Tell her she looks pretty. let her pay for stuff if she wants to.
- Introduce her to your friends as 'the coolest girl i know'.
- Sit in the park and talk to her.
- Take her to libraries and playgrounds and train stations.
- Tell her dirty jokes.
- Tell her stupid jokes.
- Talk about politics.
- Write poems about her.
- Just walk around with her.
- When she starts swearing at you, tell her you love her.
- Let her fall asleep in your arms.
- Call her.
- Call her back if she calls you.
- Sing to her, no matter how bad you are.
- Carve your names into a tree.
- Get her mad, then kiss her.
- Give her space if she needs it.
- Push her on swings.
- Stay up with her all night when she's sick.
- Make up pet names for her, but cool ones, not sappy ones.
- Teach her guitar.
- Lend her your CDs.
- Write on her.
- Write her letters.
- If she asks you to go to a show with her, go, even it it means a 5 hour trip.
- Take her to cool shops and let her take you to even cooler ones.
- Listen to all the bands she mentions.
- Don't tell her that her favorite bands suck.
- When shes sad hang out with her or stay on the phone even if shes not saying anything.
- When you find out that she used to be a teenybopper don't bag her about it.
- Let her take all the photos of you she wants.
- Look into her eyes.
- Slow dance with her, even if the music is fast.
- Kiss her in the rain.
- When you fall in love with her, tell her.

Ok, if any girls are reading this, please send me an e-mail and tell me how true this is!

I think...

I woke up from dreams of her, came out and sat on the sofa, fell asleep again and dreamt of her again. I can't stop thinking about her. I mean just look at the picture we took together. Wow. And no, I'm not going to show you. I love the pic though. Cat says we look 'couplish'. *shh* Cat, don't tell. But mostly because it's the two of us in it, looking so happy.

I proceeded to wasting the morning away. I heard there was Judo but nobody was going. So I forgot about it and went out with Jo and KS to play some Dota.I'm a total n00b so I dont' see the need of talking about it here.

After that we went for dinner at the Kopitiam at the Block 800+ there. Not bad.

Then I came back and we watched TV together and they went home after that.

Oh, I think I'm in love.

The Hormone Hostage

There are days in the month when all a man has to do is open his mouth and he takes his very life into his own hands. This is a handy guide that shouls be as common as a driver's licence in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend or significant other.

DANGEROUS: What's for dinner?
SAFER: Can I help you with dinner?
SAFEST: Where would you like to go for dinner?
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate.

DANGEROUS: Are you wearing that?
SAFER: Gee, you look good in brown.
SAFEST: WOW! Look at you!
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate.

DANGEROUS: What are you so worked up about?
SAFER: Could we be over-reacting?
SAFEST: Here's fifty dollars.
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate.

DANGEROUS: Should you be having that?
SAFER: You know, there are a lot of apples left.
SAFEST: Can I get you a glass of wine with that?
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate.

Songs and Fame

VoiceOut 2005. VoiceOut is a singing competition by SIT for SIT.

I participated in the Group Singing category with my very good friend Qifu, and together, singing the song "Lian Ai Ping Lu" (loosely translated as "Love Frequency") got us second prize at the competition. The prize was $120 in cold, hard cash but only to be claimed next month.

Which, by the way, is very absurd. And those of you looking out for treats can dream on. =P

And participating in the whole had made me a better known person. Heh, but not really though. The people are all OGLs who were part of the event. I wonder.

Some girl called me to get us to perform during National Day! Whoa. Not bad. Maybe that way more people would know me.

Yes, if you wondering, I am hungry for fame. But I hope if that really happens I wouldn't its backlashes as the likes of Xiaxue's. Go see her blog at http://xiaxue.blogspot.com/ and you'll see.

Ciao.

Titty and Peanuts

My dad told me a friend of his took his daughter to the provision to get a pack of peanuts. The shop uncle told him the price of peanuts has gone up and said they now cost $600,000.

That's some expensive, high-class Thumb/Farmer/Golden Boy/Camel Brand peanuts.

I found an article on the Financial Times website, and it was article about Titty Durai's resignation. The most laugh out loud thing about that page was that there was this Flash advertisement that said, "Earns 120,000 a year. Flies First class twice a month. Owns a collection of rare vintage wine. Want a minute of her time? To talk to business elites, advertise in the FT. "

I thought, I know of this guy earns 600,000 a year. Flies first class all the time. Owns eight cars and a dozen gold taps. If I want his undivided attention for a day, all I have to do is say it. Of course that was in the past, but oh... So sweet.

I love irony.

Oh and people should check out the video a couple of Singaporean bloggers made.

http://nineaugust.blogspot.com/

It's nice.

Ciao, people! And if you know of any jobs that pays peanuts, be sure to let me know ok? Thanks!

Since I have the time.

These few days were ok.

Wow I just realised I haven't blogged in nearly a week.

Sorry people I....

Who the hell am I kidding?

I have no audience.

Judo is fun. Physically demanding and damaging, but fun. I love the people there. Never have I felt a larger sense of belonging to any club or class or organisation.

Well, I'm recovering from yet another intense Judo session.

Toil, Polar! Toil through this and you will achieve.

Troubled?

Many a things can trouble one person. It doesn't always mean it has to be the affairs of the heart. And besides, these stuff trouble me the least now. Well, maybe.

I'm recovering from a very intense session of Judo. Well, whatever.

Triple Recap.

I've had a couple of people telling me that that kittens might be put to sleep. I've never felt good about it since I heard it, and typing about it right now, I feel a clenching in my chest. Almost like it's my conscience weighing it down. Doesn't feel good.

I went to Cineleisure with Maverick(Kevin), Faust(Victor) and Xiven(Melvin) on Tuesday to watch "The War of the Worlds". We took the MRT to Somerset, we saw the Fantastic Four statues and commented about how slim The Thing(fat) was and how fat the Invisible Woman(slim) was, and how black Mr. Fantastic's hair(white streaks, please) was. And how unfiery the Humantorch was (what's holding a ball of fire compared to a flaming body?).

So we went up and bought tickets, and went playing at this e-Games place. All of which are new games to me, thus cutting enjoyment a whole lot back. Then we watched the movie. It was nice, depressing and boring when I was feeling damn tired (I didn't get enough sleep the night before). The ending was weird but logical, so I would recommend the movie to people who think deep enough.

Yesterday school was ok. The Maths test was boring, to say the most. After that I slacked a it with the guys and went up to the labs at 3 plus. The CS trials was too tough for me, so I was out. Mav got in though. Hmm. After that was Judo! Yay! Stephen-sensei came with the gi and I love mine. =)

We did a lot of stuff. Breakfalls and stuff. Had a lot of fun. Then after the session we went for dinner at AMK. Not bad.

Today was a pretty boring day. Frustrating. I can't get the C++ and stuff. I just came home and slacked after school. I spent 3 hours typing this. Mainly because I slacked in slacking. What the hell!

Well, bye.

The joys of being good.

The morning started as usual.

I went to school, basically stoned through maths and then had a C++ test during the DES lecture time.

I finished early and went out first. I met up with Kavan (that's two persons), and had lunch with them. I was feeling damn extra until I realised my purpose there!

I was eating my fries when I heard a distant high-pitched cry. I recognised it as animal in nature and looked in the direction it was coming from. It was a round stone structure for sitting on, and the centre was filled with plants. I saw a paper bag on the side, and to my surprise, joy, shock and horror, it was a kitten so small it couldn't be more than a week old!

When I went over, and to my surprise, joy, shock and horror, there were a total of 5 more hiding among the plants! I pulled them out one by one, getting my arms scratched by the thorns a few times, and as Karen went off for her lecture, me and Ivan decided what we were to do with them.

They were black or white with patches of black, and had blue eyes (did I hear you say "cute!!!"?), and kept mewing and calling for something (mother?). Ivan ran off to get a pack of milk to attempt to get them to take it, they seemed either uninterested (highly unlikely) or just found it unfamiliar.

After a while I suggested we took them to the Admin office to get help and SPCA's number. So we got there, and they gave us SPCA's number and some boxes to put the kittens in. All of a sudden, this guy Gary from SHS says he wants one of them! I was shocked, I mean because us telling people to "adopt one", we were really joking. He took one, and I got his number (gotta check on him someday). So Ivan called SPCA and we just waited outside for the people to come.

We were busy trying to keep the kittens from climbing out of the boxes, and I just couldn't wait so I had to leave the kittens to Ivan and Kenneth (both my Judo seniors). After a while I asked Ivan about the situation and he told me the remaining 5 were safely in SPCA's hands.

Then school went on, and I just felt damn good.

Still good even taking a bit of mild poisoning from the plants on my arm (now it's red, scarry, rashy and itchy).

The joy!

Ciao!

Happy 4th of July!

Well, in case all of you were wondering, 4th of July is America's Independence Day.

I went out with my MI OG yesterday. We went to play pool at a place in the Dhoby Ghaut area called Pool Junction, and then walked around before having lunch at Burger King.

After that we went to an arcade and played a bit. Then I came back to Woodlands and sat around for a while after I found out WoW was sold out for the next 3 hours. Then I went home and I forogt what I did.

I woke up at around noon, ate lunch and went back to sleep by 2. I got up again at 3.30 and just basically wasted the afternoon.

Then I had dinner and basically wasted the night.

And now I want to go and sleep.

Bye.
