Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is about the same every year so yeah.

Oh but today me and my cousins on my mother's side went to see Memoirs of a Geisha. It's nice as a movie and quite nice for the whole plot and the ending. Narration was kept at a good level, without being too naggy.

After that I went back to Woodlands for some Initial D. I spent off the $26 I filled the last time I was there, and I managed to complete the game on another car.

As absurd as it gets, I've been using a Evolution VII since forever, and it has like 700k points and I still haven't complete it yet. I spent $20 on my Evolution IV today which completed roughly 4 areas out of 9, and I completed it quickly. That easily.

I think the Evolution VII trained me quite a bit. Thank the Initial D gods for average noob-appealing cars.

Now I can train up some more on Akina Downhill to try and beat Bunta that SoB.

Whoot.

Meanwhile...

I just had a sucky haircut.

You might as well have put a bowl on my head and cut along the side.

I have GLUT which I have to hand in tomorrow, and have NOT even started on yet. And have no clue how to go about starting.

I am screwed indefinitely.

Ah, forget it.

I'm so drained over this whole thing I can't type anymore.

My past haunts me.

Memories flow back.

Mind gets overloaded.

And I still stayed up late for an early day tomorrow.

My past haunts me.

It really does. It has a habit of creeping up quietly behind me, and then when I'm enjoying the present and expecting the future, it bites down on my leg and it never lets go.

So much for being the positive energy in the trio. I wonder if there's a trio. Maybe there is, but I'm not in it.

The past is back to haunt me, definitely. Just today I met her again. And her group of friends. My one hit wonder. One hit disaster. One hit knockout.

I couldn't eat my dinner in peace. People from the past like to show up. Again and again.

One more time. One more week. Until this weekend. I'll see.

The New Year

Looks like the New Year is here. Not that I’m excited about it or anything... Except New Year's Eve sucked ass.

First, the night before, I cursed New Year's Eve on my MSN nickname. I said it'd better rain hard that night.

And alas, as the old saying says, "Be careful what you wish for, for you might just get it."

That morning Ruo Ying asked me out for a celebration of the sorts. There's me, her and Piyo. The plan was to go eat at town, and come back after that. I just thought it was ridiculously absurd. Everything can be settled in town but they just had to see what was gonna happen at Causeway Point.

Then before I went out that afternoon it rained. It dropped to a mere drizzle by the time I was out, and we took the train to Somerset, and went up to Cineleisure's Suki Sushi.

We ate a couple of appetisers before Kaiyun came and we ordered. We ate, talked a bit (I talked less) and I went to get myself Black & White 2.

We took the train back to Woodlands. I sat down and basically kept quiet while the three of them talked.

We got there and met up with Wanshi and Yaozong. We got some stuff, and some alcohol, then we headed out to the place.

The moment we stepped in it was all downhill.

If there was one term to describe the entire thing, it's "musical mudcake". There was loud, blaring music on, and the place was full of mud.

Why, you ask? Isn't it obvious? It's the rain from earlier! And who knows if it rained some more.

We were not at a party. We were trekking through the mud for our lives. Well, our shoes at least. Everyone got their shoes muddy, and I got, as a bonus for the wisher, some on my jeans too. Walking one big round in the place did not help.

Ruo Ying had, well, not much of a shoe and got muddy feet instead.

After wailing in agony a few times everytime the DJ told us to make some noise, we decided to get out, and I decided to get home. They wanted to go back to Cine for a movie, but I couldn't stay up late.

So I came back, and B&W 2 was nice. I've gotten to the third land now, and it's puzzling for me how I can win an evil one that uses soldiers to take over.

Well, I have no New Year resolutions. It's like nonsense to me. Like something you just say. You say it, and you never actually remember by the end of the year if you did it or not.

2006...

I wonder what of a year it would be. The anticipation kills.

Well, either way we have a year of shit and fun to look for forward to.

Later.
