Movie Day
I woke up when some DMD guy called me. I had to collect my ticket but I was still in bed.
So some other guy is holding on to my ticket until later. Great.
I ate brunch. It was about 12. I got my sister up and we only got out by at 2. We had Cathay vouchers for weekday tickets so we were going for a movie. We initially planned Casino Royale but ended up watching Happy Feet instead. It was ok. Not bad.
We went shopping for handphone pouches to no avail. Our poor N80s are still gonna be naked for a while. Then we stopped by Comics Connection and I picked up a Death Note.
Yeah, ok, "Fanboy", whatever.
So then we got hungry and decided to eat at Swensen's! There was this Happy Feet promo going on and we ate there. I had to leave in the middle of dessert for Somerset (or so I thought, more later). It was only until Sembawang I saw Kaiyun on board. We talked a bit and realised we were both heading towards the same place.
We got off at Somerset, and just as we were about to cross the road to Cineleisure she got news it was at The Cathay, somewhere totally different. So we got back to the station, got off the next stop, and walked to the place. I knew zero people there and I was pointed to the guy who had my ticket. Fortunately this small group came on time and got in to see the whole movie.
Some of the others came in almost 15 minutes later. Too bad man. It was an okay show. Started around 7.20 and ended around 8.40. It's not even an hour and a half long. Kinda short for Hollywood standards. Although I heard Corpse Bride clocked in only a little over an hour.
I left pretty much alone and got home. Watched TV for a while and tried to cook some soba, but making a mess in the end. I choked on the wasabi in the sauce, and coughed for like ten minutes.
Some people won't be in class tomorrow because of the 30-hour game programming marathon thing. I kinda wished I would be there too, but I'm so confused.
Overall it was okay. See you.
