The making of the longest waited for blog post ever made in this blog.

Seeing that I have not updated this blog for almost 4 weeks, and that nobody cares anyway, I shall blog about many, many things.

First of all, my grandmother passed away that weekend right after my last post. The week after that was the wake and she was sent off on Thursday.

It was also when I started planning a new computer. It would have the AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor (2.0 GHz, rated same as Intel 3.2 GHz), 2 GB (2048 MB) of RAM, about 120 GB of Hard Disk space, a Geforce FX 7800 GT, and a DVD+RW drive.

The days went past quick... School was the main thing and I did some researching with Voon for our computers. It obviously turned out much cheaper than the machines sold by the big companies like Compaq, Dell and Acer.

I found out that the Malaysian musical game went free this month. Me and some of my friends started playing and got hooked. If it helps, imagine a BeatMania MMO. That's what it's like.

I haven't watched Naruto for a long, long time. I heard the filler arcs are coming non-stop, so maybe one day I'll get Jason or Aydeng to burn a DVD full of episodes I missed... Considering they downloaded.

I managed to get a full date. Movie and dinner. I wonder if she thinks that way.

Christmas came, and this year it was on a Sunday so the Monday was a Public Holiday. So on Saturday, Christmas Eve, I looked for places to go to and went to Esther's with Jo in the end. It wasn't a party or anything. A friend of hers was bringing her church's choir around caroling. And it was amazing how 40 odd people managed to squeeze in a small living room like hers.

After the carolers left we played on her XBox. Did she mention she has every current generation console? She has the PS2, the Xbox, a PSP and a DS. And she told us her dad bought the Xbox 360 in Hong Kong. And I went mad, naturally.

We stayed overnight, attempted to rush though Lego Star Wars, and I knocked out at the middle of Episode II. I heard at Episode III the game hung and they decided to give it up.

I went to my uncle's the next day. We didn't get any presents. My cousins did. My mother bought them. We watched two movies there: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Passion of the Christ.

HP:PoA was nothing much because I've watched it before, but PotC was just too... Mentally damaging. The images of the soldiers torturing Jesus was just too gruesome. It didn't spark any sense of spiritual enlightenment, though, it wasn't that kind of movie.

And came Boxing Day, and my wish came true; my parents took me to Funan, and got my computer, with the specifications I gave above, except it has 80 GB of space instead. We also got an additional 256 MB of RAM and a wireless adaptor for my sister's computer, and gave it to my dad. And my sister took my old one, and the external wireless adaptor doesn't work so we're still using the long Ethernet cable we were using.

As a bonus, I also got a 512 MB Flash Disk (similar to Chiong's) and with the graphics card came two games: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

I couldn't get Splinter Cell. Prince of Persia proved too complicated for me at the part where I'm stuck now.

I went out with Chiong and BK to Marina for the steamboat. We got there at around 8, and ate till 10 plus. We played and forgot the time and by the time we went out it was midnight and there were no buses and trains to go home with. We made plans to stay out until the morning, maybe in the arcade itself (it opens 10AM to 6AM daily). But Chiong made a call and we eventually ended up on the back of his father's pickup truck.

And boy, the feeling of the wind smashing your face at 100 KM/H is not something I get everyday. We talked about many things, and we all went home eventually.

I felt hot and slept topless. I woke up with the flu this morning. Afternoon, actually. I woke up, ate lunch and bailed to school for Judo training. In the end I couldn't do much because of the stupid thing.

There were a couple of girls crying for unknown reasons, and dinner was okay.

So then I was trying to replay Need For Speed: Underground 2, but somehow it lags. Strange an older game lags.

Well.

That's all until I decided to blog. After a long, long, long time.
