In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, there is a special unit called Cobra, much like Foxhound in MGS. The soldiers in Cobra were named after the emotion they carry into battle.

There's The Pain, The Fear, The Sorrow, The Fury, The End("for true oblivion", like The Boss says), and The Joy a.k.a. The Boss.

8 days. Just eight.

Joy is too far away.

I have nothing to Fear.

Neither am I in Fury.

Sorrow eludes me.

But I am numb from the Pain.

I feel... Nothing. True oblivion. As if nothing happened.
