You're joking, right...

No, we're not! We came in second! This, despite insufficient practice and some really bad parts.

I... I was so excited about this. Then when the finalist results was released I just felt... Cold. Like this was not what was supposed to happen, like I should say "hmm, mistake?" Then the requirements set in, and we were totally unprepared. We only pulled off about 2 hours of practice together here and there, and some time alone.

Now all I want to do is play, play, play and play. Except.

I came in this morning feeling pretty okay about the competition, even with really litle practice. People were really curious what song I was going to sing. A Maths was okay, I was awake, but really distracted. We had captain's ball for P.E. again, and it was pretty fine too. After recess we had a Social Studies test, but Ms Chee didn't come. I was getting hopeful when Ms Yati came in with the questions. So I did 1a pretty badly and I wrote nothing for 1b. I went through it anyway.

Then it was time for the competition. We fought for time to practice, but to no avail. We probably only got to go through the song a few times before we had to go up. There were really bad technical boo-boos up there with the AV people, so there was a ten, fifteen-minute delay.

So we got through it anyway. Came in second.
